Industrial Plumbing is considered as a subset of commercial plumbing. The tools, materials are often the same, but construction code can be different to reflect thickness or grades of material used. Manufacturing plants of varied type can have unique plumbing requirements. Some of the tasks of boilermakers and pipefitters can be considered as plumbing also.
